What the ISAC Fund for Global Cytometry Education Supports


You may choose to support one of the program areas listed below or designate the donation should go where the support is most needed. Donations of any size are welcome!


CYTO University

ISAC’s online portal for cytometry education features courses, webinars and recordings on flow cytometry, image cytometry and Shared Resource Labs. CYTO U is free to ISAC Members and can be accessed online from anywhere at anytime.

 

International Cytometry Workshops

Guided by Dr. Awtar Krishan, ISAC holds cytometry workshops in India, China, Bangkok, Turkey and other locations around the world.


ISAC Marylou Ingram Scholars Program

This prestigious five-year program enhances the scientific and leadership experiences of emerging leaders in the field and helps develop the future leaders of ISAC.

 
Shared Resource Lab (SRL) Emerging Leaders Program

This leadership development program is designed to enhance and develop the next generation of emerging leaders in SRL (Shared Resource Lab) operations who will also help advance cytometry and ISAC.

 

CYTO Travel Support Program

ISAC provides travel awards to students and SRL junior staff whose abstracts have been approved for either oral or poster presentation to ensure they have the financial resources to attend CYTO.

 

FlowRepository

This database is a collection of flow cytometry experiments where you can query and download data collected and annotated according to the MIFlowCyt standard.

 

Where Support Is Most Needed

General donations to ISAC’s Fund for Global Cytometry Education will be dedicated to support ISAC’s critical education priorities and to respond to new areas of need as they arise. ISAC is grateful for the trust you place in us to determine the best and most effective use of your generous financial support.

Cumulative giving for the calendar year to date is recognized as follows:
 
  • Contributing: $1 to 249
  • Sustaining: $250 - 499
  • Partner: $500 - 999
  • Patron: $1000 -2499
  • Bronze: $2500 – 4999
  • Silver: $5000 – 9999
  • Gold: $10,000 – 24,999
  • Platinum: $25,000 or more

ISAC will absorb all administrative costs so that 100% of your donation will be applied to the support area you designate. By virtue of ISAC’s 501(c)3 status with the IRS, contributions may be tax-deductible for people who pay US taxes. Requests to remain anonymous in any public acknowledgements of your generous support will be honored.

Matching Gift Fund:  If you are planning on contributing to an ISAC fund, a Matching Gift contribution is an easy way to provide additional support to ISAC. If you or your spouse is employed by a company or organization that has a Matching Gift program, please consider designating ISAC as a recipient of the matching funds.
