CYTO 2017 - ISAC’s 32nd International Congress


Held from June 10-14 in Boston, Massachusetts, CYTO 2017 was arguably the most successful annual meeting in ISAC's history. With a total of 1,844 participants, it was the highest-attended CYTO congress to date.

Through the years, we have spoken with countless members of the ISAC community about how we can improve the CYTO experience. We've been offered many suggestions through surveys and focus groups, at our exhibitor town halls, and in many one-on-one conversations with members of ISAC leadership.

We carefully listened, and structured the congress to ensure increased attendance on the exhibit floor, improve exposure to leading experts in the field, and ensure that CYTO was a great success!
 
We put together a very strong line-up of cutting edge scientific presentations and educational sessions that attracted scientists and cytometrists from all over the world to CYTO 2017.

World famous scientists such as Xiaowei Zhuang and Ed Boyden gave the keynote addresses. The congress focused on cutting-edge cytometry opening new horizons in analyzing biology on the level of individual cells.

CYTO Innovation explored the challenges and opportunities for the development and commercialization of cytometry in precision medicine. Once again, CYTO featured a full programming track specifically for Shared Resource Lab managers and staff. Additinally, cytometry technology is a driving force in our understanding of biological systems, and a central factor in new approaches to diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.

As the premier showcase for new cytometry-related technologies and applications, business owners wanted to make sure their companies were brought to the attention of the many thought leaders, decision makers, and current and new customers who were in Boston for CYTO 2017.
