CYTO - The premier international venue for showcasing the art and science of cytometry.
The CYTO Congress is an annual, multi-national cytometry congress developed through the efforts of over 50 members of ISAC's Organizing and Planning Committees, as well as the ISAC Marylou Ingram Scholars and SRL Emerging Leaders who propose themes and speakers and assist with the review of abstracts. Held each year at a different venue around the globe, CYTO has become one of the world's leading events in international collaboration for the advancement of the field of cytometry.
The city of Prague, Czech Republic was chosen to host this year's CYTO conference. Have a look at the photos from the event
The city of Vancouver, Canada will host CYTO 2019.
The Congress includes elements for scientists working in all areas of cytometry and at all career stages. Top faculty and thought leaders in the industry contribute their time and talent to CYTO Innovation, State of the Art Lectures, Scientific Tutorials, Workshops, Frontiers, and Plenary Sessions featuring cutting-edge cytometry technology and applications.
The program also includes Parallel Sessions with examples of contemporary cytometry, from the research lab to the clinic, and Poster Sessions providing an opportunity for discussion between authors and delegates. Additionally, the Congress includes Commercial Exhibits featuring companies displaying hardware, software, and reagents for advanced cytometry research.
In addition, 2017 was the inaugural year of CYTO Asia, the first major cytometry meeting to be held in Southeast Asia. This was a fantastic opportunity to meet those who have shaped and changed the field, and network with regional mentors, professors and students who share a passion for cytometry. The audience for this meeting included those that normally attend the ACS Annual Meeting (from Australia and New Zealand), cytometry scientists and clinicians in the South East Asian region, and, with the involvement of ISAC, participants from China, India, Pakistan, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, Turkey, Ethiopia, and Europe.
