2018 ISAC Council Elections
As a member-driven society, one of the main ways ISAC members help shape the future of the society is by voting in the ISAC Council Elections. It is time to elect new ISAC Officers and Councilors whose decisions will impact the society and cytometry for years to come.
ISAC members will be electing a new President-Elect and Treasurer, as well as four additional Councilors from among four categories. Election results will be available online after candidates have been informed of the results.
For the 2018-2020 ISAC Council elections, the nominating committee returned to a previous practice of assigning categories to Council member slots to ensure diversity of discipline and viewpoints on Council. The bylaws state that “Candidates shall represent as broadly as possible all aspects of cytometry,” and the nominating committee worked hard to reach that goal in the 2018 elections.
ISAC would like to thank all of the candidates for their willingness to run and to serve if elected, as well as the members of the Nominating Committee for their participation and continued commitment to the Society. If you have any questions regarding the election or candidates, please contact ISAC's Program Coordinator, Matt Niner at firstname.lastname@example.org
