IncellDx Announces New Director of Research and Development

MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IncellDx is pleased to announce the addition of Keith Shults to their Research and Development Team as Director of Research and Development.

"We are extremely pleased to have a scientist of Keith's caliber leading our R&D efforts in molecular infectious disease, cancer, and transplant diagnostics. He has a proven track record of bringing cell analysis products to market using both flow cytometry and imaging systems"

In this position Keith will be responsible for the development of a 3Dx version of HPV OncoTect®, a product which is already CE-IVD marked in Europe and now being actively sold around the world. In addition, he will oversee the science behind IncellDx's breast cancer diagnostic based on the company's patented technology that allows simultaneous proteomic, genomic, and cell cycle analysis on intact cells.

"We are extremely pleased to have a scientist of Keith's caliber leading our R&D efforts in molecular infectious disease, cancer, and transplant diagnostics. He has a proven track record of bringing cell analysis products to market using both flow cytometry and imaging systems," commented Dr. Bruce Patterson, CEO of IncellDx, Inc.

Keith, along with being a multi-published author and international speaker in the field of cytometry, was the co-founder of Cytometry Associates, the first CAP accredited cytometry facility in the US. The growth of Cytometry Associates led to its purchase by Esoterix where Shults acted as the Vice President of Technology Transfer within the Center for Innovation. Most recently, Shults was Director of Advanced Cytometric Applications at Nodality, Inc. In 2001, Keith was awarded the Wallace C. Coulter Lifetime Achievement Award in Clinical Cytometry for his contributions in the field of cellular analysis and flow cytometry.
