Modern flow cytometers can simultaneously measure forward and side scatter data from up to 18 flourophores requiring a large number of detection channels. This, coupled with the rising number of lasers used in modern systems, can pose a problem for ordinary filters.
Designed to work with all major clinical and research instruments, LASER COMPONENTS provides emission filters optimized both for collection of the desired fluorescent signal and avoidance of channel cross talk. These dichroic filters have very steep cut on edges to split off fluorescent signals in close spectral proximity while minimizing the sensitivity of the polarization state of the incident energy.
