June 19, 2012. Sony has announced the development of a ‘spectral’ cell analyzer. This cell analyzer adopts a newly-developed ‘spectral’ cytometry method to detect full spectrum fluorescent emissions. A newly designed prism array, in combination with a newly-developed ‘32-channel photomultiplier tube makes this development possible.
