Aims and Scope
Cytometry, Part B: Clinical Cytometry is an official publication of the International Clinical Cytometry Society (ICCS). Cytometry Part B was previously published by ISAC but was sold to ICCS in 2006. ISAC and ICCS have an agreement about the scope of their journals that it is in effect through the end of 2016. It specifies that the primary focus of the ISAC journal shall be basic and translational research and the primary focus of the ICCS journal shall be clinical cytometry.
Cytometry, Part B: Clinical Cytometry focuses on the development and applications of cellular system analysis and array based technologies as applied to clinical practice and translational research. This journal also covers relevant techniques such as flow cytometry, image cytometry, bead-based and slide-based array analyses, as well as other cell-based spectroscopic analyses. In addition, Clinical Cytometry publishes clinical and translational investigations that identify and validate the features and molecules important in diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic management of patients.
