ISAC Image Cytometry Data Standards Task Force
Summary
In image cytometry, most instruments produce image and feature data in proprietary file formats, making researchers dependent on analytical software provided by the specific hardware manufacture and hindering interoperability and independent validation of experimental results. In order to promote data sharing and interoperability, ISAC has formed a task force to develop a data format standard for image cytometry.
Tasks
1. Assess needs for data format standards in image cytometry
2. Develop a draft image cytometry data format standard, disseminate for comment
3. Develop one or more reference implementations of the draft standard
