ISAC Ambassador Program

Program Overview

The ISAC Ambassador Program is designed to expand ISAC’s international presence and foster meaningful collaborations with scientific societies worldwide. Through this program, Associated Societies may request the presence of an ISAC Ambassador to speak at their event. Ambassadors represent ISAC, present lectures, workshops, presentations etc. and promote ISAC initiatives such as ISAC membership benefits, the annual CYTO conference, CYTO U, and more.

Program Goals

  • Expand ISAC visibility at regional and international scientific meetings
  • Support Associated Societies seeking cytometry expertise
  • Encourage global engagement and knowledge-sharing
  • Promote ISAC programs, membership, education and more

Program Engagements

Scientific Presentation |  Lecture | Workshop

Associated Societies may request an ISAC Ambassador(s) to participate in their event program.

Details:

  • Speakers must be active ISAC members
  • Host society provides complimentary registration, logistical support and pre/in-event promotion
  • Ambassador participating program is branded as an “ISAC Presentation / Lecture / Workshop”
  • ISAC provides up to $1000 USD per Ambassador budget restrictions apply, utilize the travel reimbursement policy for eligible reimbursement types  

Introduction to ISAC

Associated Societies can request an ISAC Ambassador to deliver a session about ISAC and its initiatives.

  • ISAC provides up to $1,000 per Ambassador budget restrictions apply, utilize the travel reimbursement policy for eligible reimbursement types
  • Host society provides complimentary registration, logistical support and pre/in-event promotion
  • Ambassador participating program is branded as an “ISAC Presentation” or the like

Looking for an ISAC Ambassador?

Eligibility

Applicants (Associated Societies) may request an ISAC member as the ambassador by submitting an application online. Please submit the application at least 3 months prior to the event date and attach any relevant materials (draft agenda, past programs, etc.). The ISAC office will receive the application once submitted.

The application will go under review by the Membership Services Committee and Associated Societies Subcommittee. Once approved, the requested Ambassador will be notified with supplementary materials from both ISAC and the host Associated Society where applicable.
