Invivoscribe (IVS) is a privately owned  molecular oncology lab based in San Diego, CA with a global presence. IVS has 25 years of experience providing molecular medical diagnostic kits and services to hospitals, reference labs and pharma.We are  launching a flow cytometry section starting in San Diego and then standardizing globally! This flow cytometry CLS position will work in our growing flow lab helping to establish new processes, assays and validating new equipment for L&L diagnostics. This is a ground level position looking for someone who wants to get in at the beginning and aid in developing a world class flow lab. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, calibrate and operate the flow cytometers including BD FACS Lyrics.
  • Use, develop and train in data analysis using FCS Express
  • Perform periodic and as needed instrument maintenance.
  • Proficient in the proper use of equipment, data collection and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate department records including instrument use logs, materials used, supply inventories, capital equipment lists, equipment maintenance lists, department purchases and accounting records
  • Maintain current knowledge of advances in flow cytometry and recommend improved laboratory equipment as necessary
  • Optimize and validate flow cytometry panels and equipment

 

 


Qualifications

  • CA Licensed CLS.
  • Must have experience working within flow cytometry, including L&L and MRD.
  • Experience with assay validation in a regulated environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
