ISAC Launches 2020 Elections!

Wednesday, May 6, 2020   (0 Comments)
Dear ISAC Colleagues,

ISAC is launching the 2020 Council election today! ISAC members will be electing a new President-Elect, Secretary and six (6) Councilors. The full list of candidates and their biographies & campaign statements can be accessed online at: https://isac-net.org/page/2020Elections

A message about voting with an individualized link to an official online ballot has been sent to all eligible voting members via Survey Monkey.  If you have not received this message or have any questions please contact ISAC’s Program Assistant, Maddie O’Gwin at mogwin@isac-net.org.

Please carefully consider your votes as you are only permitted to vote once, and you cannot change your votes once your ballot has been cast.  The election will end on June 3rd at noon EDT.  Election results will be available on ISAC’s website after candidates have been informed of the results.

Only voting members of ISAC are eligible to participate in the election. According to the ISAC bylaws, “there are two categories of General Membership: Voting and Non-Voting. A Voting Member is one who has paid the dues for the current calendar year. Only Voting Members of the Society have the right to vote in elections and at business meetings, petition, sponsor new Members, and hold office in the Society.”

We would like to thank all candidates for their willingness to run and to serve if elected, as well as the members of ISAC’s Nominating Committee for their participation and continued commitment to the Society.

Thank you in advance for participating in the 2020 election!
