Scientific Interest and Avenues for Collaboration
My research activity is mainly focused on analysing mitochondrial biology and cellular metaboliam in several physiological and pathological settings and in complex cellular responses. To do this, I utilise flow cytometry, live-cell confocal microscopy and stimulated emission depletion (STED) microscopy, to interrogate diverse cellular systems. All my work is performed in a multidisciplinary context which include a clinical environment to proficiently merge basic science with clinical knowledge.

Participation / Support of ISAC

I participated in CYTO 2018, where I gave a tutorial covering the methods for the analysis of mitochondria and cell death by flow cytometry.
