Who we are

What is Cytometry?

Cytometry is the quantitative analysis of cells and cell systems. Cutting edge techniques are used in cytometry, playing a crucial role in advancing biology, medicine, and technology.

Our History

The decision to form a “Society for Analytical Cytology” was first proposed at the fifth Engineering Foundation Conference on Automated Cytology, held on December 12, 1976 in Pensacola, Florida.

Governance

The ISAC Executive Committee & Council acts as the Board of Trustees for the Society, establishing the policies of the Society according to the Constitution and implementing policies.

Volunteers

ISAC committees and task forces work tirelessly to carry out the many scientific, educational, and outreach programs offered by ISAC. They are the central nervous system of the Society.

Associated Societies

ISAC believes in the importance of exchanging ideas. With close to 40 Associated Societies, we continue to expand our community and broaden the scope of our vision and goals.

Constitution & Bylaws

ISAC has come a long way since its inception over forty years ago. As the Society has grown, expanded, and diversified, so too have its governing documents.

Code of Conduct

As an international scientific and educational organization, our purpose is to promote: Development of cytometry; transfer of methodologies; and exchange of scientific & technical information.

Our Staff

ISAC staff are a group of dynamic individuals who focus on serving ISAC administratively and operationally, supporting events and membership, and by facilitating education.
