Scientific Interest and Avenues for Collaboration
As a biotechnologist, I am interested in the applications of cytometry in this area of knowledge, to develop my own lines of research in the accompaniment of biological processes from gene to industry. Likewise, I have a special interest in the study of transcriptomic and proteomic responses, which is why the development of multi-omics technologies is one of the fields that I would like to address.

I would like to continue supporting the teaching of flow cytometry and to be able to bring information to users about the new technologies that can benefit their degree work and research and also, the best practices in Flow Cytometry. I would like to implement spectral cytometry in Mexico as a tool for deep analysis.

Through the Iberoamerican Network: LatinFlow (of which I am co-founder), I would like to have the tools to continue the growth of the network for the dissemination of academic activities, teaching of the methodology in Spanish and the promotion of scientific collaborations with the other ISAC members in countries of the continent where the technique is not yet widely spread in clinical and academic settings.

Participation/Support of ISAC

  • First time attendee in CYTO 2019 Vancouver
  • LABNALCIT: The Challenges of Teaching Flow Cytometry in Mexico
