The Nominations and Awards Committee consists of the Immediate Past President of the Society, who chairs the Committee, and other past leaders (usually 7-8) as well as up to 3 General Members of the Society appointed by the President. The Committee is responsible for identifying candidates for: Elections by the Voting Membership to volunteer leadership positions; and identification of candidates for ISAC’s top awards, including the Fulwyler Award, Joseph T. Trotter Award, Distinguished Service Award, Exceptional Student Award, Howard Shapiro Award, and Presidential Award for Excellence. It has oversight of Awards and prizes issued by other committees.
