During an emergency meeting earlier this week, the ISAC Council made the difficult decision to cancel CYTO 2020, scheduled for June 19-23 in Philadelphia, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The health
and safety of our attendees and the community are of paramount importance to us, and we must do our part during this crisis. Furthermore, we cannot see how we could hold a successful international meeting in late June given current global
health conditions and travel restrictions.
This will be disappointing news to many of our members and stakeholders who were looking forward to learning more about the latest in cytometry. ISAC volunteer leaders and staff are exploring options for hosting a virtual meeting
later this year. We have also started planning for CYTO 2021 in Brussels!
ISAC will reimburse all meeting registrations within the next 60 days. Please remember to cancel any travel or hotel arrangements you made for CYTO 2020. Please see our CYTO 2020 Cancellation FAQs for more information.
All content at CYTO U has been made free to all during the pandemic. The ban on face-to-face meetings around the globe has made it challenging for people to learn and
exchange knowledge, so we encourage everyone interested to explore the wealth of quality scientific education ISAC has created and published.
We wish you and your family all the best during these tough times. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
