Dr. Stacie Woolard, Ph.D., SCYM^(ASCP), is a Clinical Scientist in the Immunophenotyping Laboratory, Department of Pathology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where she assists in the development and implementation advanced flow cytometric assays for clinical diagnostics and measurable residual disease (MRD) detection in pediatric hematologic malignancies.

Dr. Woolard received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with a focus in Microbiology and Immunology and completed postdoctoral training in Bone Marrow Transplantation immunology. She has nearly 20 years of experience in flow cytometry spanning basic research, shared resource laboratories, translational science, and clinical diagnostics.

Prior to transitioning to clinical cytometry, she spent 14 years in the St. Jude Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting Shared Resource, where she held scientific and operational leadership roles. Her current interests include the clinical implementation of spectral flow cytometry, assay validation and standardization, and advancing the integration of emerging cytometry technologies into patient care.

Dr. Woolard currently serves as Translational & Clinical Research Councilor for ISAC and is dedicated to strengthening collaborations across research, shared resource, translational, and clinical cytometry communities.
