ABOUT ISAC ELECTIONS
ISAC is a member-driven society, and one of the main ways members help shape the future of the society is by voting in the ISAC Council Elections. It is time to elect new ISAC Officers and Councilors whose decisions will impact the society and cytometry for years to come. How to Vote
- Elections are open to active ISAC members. To register for an ISAC membership, click HERE. Need to renew your ISAC membership? Log in to your account HERE or contact us
- Eligible voting members of ISAC will receive a separate email from vote@simplyvoting.com with instructions on how to cast their ballot. Voting member types include Platinum, Silver and Bronze level members. Your membership MUST BE ACTIVE in order to cast your vote.
- Make sure your ISAC email address is up-to-date to ensure you receive the election ballot email and all ISAC membership emails.
- Check your Spam/Junk/Filtered mail and if you do not receive your ballot contact us.
- Note, there is only one vote allowed per member.
- Voting closes on May 18, 2026 at 11:55pm ET.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATES
The President-Elect, Treasurer, or Councilor candidate(s) who receives the most votes will be elected. All newly elected officers and candidates will be introduced at the ISAC General Business Meeting on June 10th at CYTO in West Palm Beach.

President-Elect
The President-Elect is a voting member of the Executive Committee and Council and an ex-officio non-voting member of all other Committees or Taskforces of Council unless otherwise specified. They assist the President, perform the duties of the President when the President is not available, are responsible for organizing one International congress (CYTO) during their term, carry out other duties as assigned by Council; and succeeds to the Presidency the moment that office becomes vacant. They serve one two-year term as such, followed by one term as President, and one term as Past-president. No person shall serve as President-Elect or as President more than once.

Treasurer
The Treasurer is a voting member of the Executive Committee and Council. They ensure that the finances and financial activities of the organization are monitored; ensure complete and accurate financial records are recorded in accordance with generally-accepted accounting practices (GAAP); collaborate with the Executive Director and staff in the preparation of an annual budget for submission for Council approval, chair the Finance Committee; ensure development and review of financial policies and procedures, and ensure that the Society’s reserves are invested in a manner consistent with ISAC’s Investment Policy; in conjunction with the Finance Committee, review ISAC’s Investment Policy and proposes any needed revisions for Council approval. In addition, the Treasurer is expected to uphold ISAC’s Code of Conduct and help drive forward ISAC’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategic Plan Goals. Note that the Treasurer serves two consecutive two-year terms and is not eligible for immediate re-election.

Councilors
As part of the 2026 Elections, ISAC is seeking 1 Councilor from each focus area: Shared Resource Laboratories, Basic Research, Technology Innovation & Development, and Translational & Clinical Research. Councilors act as part of ISAC Council, which is responsible for defining the Society’s strategic vision and is accountable for the overall health of ISAC’s Code of Conduct and help drive forward ISAC’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategic Plan Goals. Councilors are elected to serve two consecutive two-year terms and are not eligible fore immediate re-election as Councilors. Terms of office are staggered with approximately half-elected at each term.
